Who We Are
The Gray Line Group is a veteran-owned commercial real estate investment company based in Tennessee and primarily focused in the Tri-Cities area. Our dedicated team seeks to find distressed multi-family properties and underperforming commercial spaces. We creatively transform them into high performing real estate assets that seamlessly integrate into the community and improve the quality of the life for our tenants and neighbors.
Our team has a deep understanding of local markets, partners with community members and small businesses, and leverages the motivation and expertise around us to yield the best possible results. While we attempt to learn from and repeat our successes, we do not look at any project from a “cookie cutter” perspective,and endeavor to showcase the unique potential at each location.

NANDO MARTINEZ
Owner/Co-Founder
Nando is a 2008 West Point graduate where he was the wrestling team captain and a two-time NCAA qualifier. After graduation, he became an Army Aviation Officer, serving 15 years and deploying 11 times to Iraq and Afghanistan. He also spent time in Europe and Central America. He has extensive experience leading teams and piloting aircraft, spending the majority of his career with the 160th SOAR (Abn).
In 2024, Nando transitioned from the Army to civilian life, but leverages his experience solving complex problems to yield success as an entrepreneur, real estate investor, and mortgage loan officer. He caught the real estate "itch" after buying his first single family home in 2015 while stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Since then, he has grown his personal real estate portfolio of long and medium-term rentals in the Nashville area -where he currently resides- as well as in the Tri-Cities area of East Tennessee. He is a mortgage loan officer with Evolution Mortgage, licensed in 15 states. He is also a US Army Reserve Officer, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner, and youth wrestling coach.
In 2021, Nando teamed up with his business partner, Travis, to launch The Gray Line Group LLC - an investment company with a growing portfolio of real estate projects across the Tri-Cities area.
TRAVIS FEATHERSTONE
Owner/Co-Founder
Travis is a 2008 West Point graduate where he was a wrestler. He served 5 years after graduation as an infantry officer at Fort Polk, Louisianaand Fort Benning, Georgia. He also completed a combat deployment to Afghanistan. He later earned his MBA from The Haslam College of Business at University of Tennessee.
Win addition to his real estate ventures, Travis is a passionate entrepreneur involved in a range of businesses throughout the Tri-Cities region and beyond. He is the founder of Odyssey Enterprises, a firm focused on startup ventures and small business development, and serves as the Co-Founder and President of NetVets Group, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing East Tennessee veterans with centralized resources and support.
